Memorial Biography

Donald Carl Gruver, 64, died unexpectedly in his home in Manhattan, KS on 22 Feb 2022. Don, who was born in Pittsburg, KS on 22 Feb 1958 to Lawrence and Carry (Scholes) Gruver, spent the majority of his life in Cass County, MO, until moving to Manhattan, KS in 2020. He loved to walk and garden, was quick to offer assistance to friends and neighbors and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter. Donald is survived by his children, Debbie (James) Erickson, Karen Gruver and Donnie Gruver, a sister, Mary Sewing and brothers, James Gruver and Thomas Gruver. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Carla J Gruver, a brother, Larry Gruver and a sister, Naomi J Gruver. Memorials to assist with final costs can be shared at gofund.me/1ac32923.
